I was able to go to Mackinaw Island this weekend. I was inspired again to dig deeper into my artist self and to see things through the eyes of art. I was re-vitalized with my Michigan upbringing. I love Michigan,...I always will.

Honoring Dr. O

This is my latest drawing of Doctor O. The college that I attended honored Doc. O on founder's day and I had the privilege to do this drawing. My father presented it to him as a surprise and I'm greatly honored to be apart of his special day! Doctor Ollila is an amazing person and has been an awesome Godly example to many generations! I'm glad to have had the opportunity to be under his teaching during my college years! Thanks Dr. O!

Sick

Well I have been sick for quite a while...and i am finally getting back into the drawing. I am just praying that the Lord will give me the strength to keep going. I am trying to be creative and i am continuing to look for leads during this down time. I know that the Lord will provide!

The Boys Pencil Drawing

This drawing was a fun challenge. It really turned out great. I had fun drawing all the details to the cloth behind the boys. I did this drawing on a 11x14. You can see a definite difference in the quality of the drawing than if it were a smaller size.

Horse Pastel/oil

This was a time consuming effort! I tried so hard to capture the essence of this horse. He is just Beautiful. I took some pics of some horses just down the road to get this shot. I am going to have this painting put on canvas.

Flower burst. I had fun doing this painting! I am getting into digital painting. This is a oil/pastel mixed medium. I just love the way this turned out.

Small Drawings

The Quality of the photo is not good. The size is small, but the detail of the drawing is still good. I found it interesting to change it up and try something small. Get yours for $10.

A trip to Downtown Greenville

I had a wonderful adventure today with my family. We walked downtown Greenville and saw many things. I had fun getting back into the old Photography thing.

Artist Trading Cards

I made up some trading cards of my artwork. They look pretty cool! Visit my etsy shop to check it out! If you like the drawings that you see from my recent posts, (colored eye and flower) you can order prints of those too! These cards are made out of card stock paper, prints of the original work, and measure 4.5" x 3.25" Email me if you would like one or go to my etsy shop. I'll even personally sign the back of the trading card!

Eye see you...I think that have found my nitch with my drawings. I have been having fun adding color to my drawings. There is just something about it.

I have a love for wolves! I am going to put a collection together of just wolves. The fur is a different texture that is difficult to capture fully. I am still learning.

I had some fun with my drawing and thought that I would add some texture to my rose. I added some pen outlining, and a little color. This would look for a clean looking wall hanging.


The second is a watercolor print that I made as well. Tell me what you think of them.

My Masterpeice

This is my most recent work. I fell in love with this cat the more I drew it. I had fun working with the fur.

Wedding

I love to see people smile. I love to try to capture that moment when someone has found their true love. Ben and Sarah Kilcup are wonderful friends of mine. This is an example of a Couple Portrait. A unique way to remember and be remembered.
