Almost There!

It is official! I will be moving to Taylors SC in a few weeks. I have been working hard on this drawing and I need to finish tonight. I am thankful that the clouds are coming along smoothly and I have a bit left. So, I suddenly feel like a college student again. Most of all, i wish everyone a very merry Christmas, and I trust that this drawing will make someone happy. Until the next big Drawing,

The Craziness

I have been locked away in the basement working like a mad scientist! As you can see in this picture, the scale of the piece is quite large. I noticed that as I was posting pictures that one could not see the actual proportions of the drawing. I have recorded a few videos of my work as well, and I will be posting those as soon as I can.

The Sails

Just a quick update on what I have done all day today! I worked on the sails, and added the deep water reflection to the back of the boat. The sails have only one coat of color. So, they will be darkened a bit. It was amazing to me to see the shear size of the sail! Standing here looking at the drawing is incredible!
